Vibrant prints by Donatella Versace, the company’s chief creative officer, proposed bold and gritty pieces for the season. She complemented in line with the two protagonists and with the new style of the entire season. The campaign also harked back to Versace’s photographic culture, which was always based on images that leave their mark and last over time.

Initially popularized by Biggie Smalls (also known as Christopher Wallace) in the mid-1990s, the Medusa Biggie sunglasses they were and still remain legendary today. On the contemporary frames of the new collection they were presented with a reinterpretation of gold-coloured metal details.

“First popularized by Biggie Smalls (alias of Christopher Wallace, otherwise known as the Notorious B.I.G.) in the mid-1990s, Medusa Biggie sunglasses fully live up to their iconic status, as the golden hardware is reinterpreted across a range of contemporary frames. Acetate in bright neon or crisp white sits within the exciting, confident world of the main Versace Spring-Summer 2022 collection and runway show. The hardware showcases its versatility as it is worked into intricate optical styles and new oversized silhouettes.” – from Versace.

Moreover, acetates in bright neon shaded or vivid while echo the exciting and casual atmosphere of the Versace SS 22’ collection and catwalk. Extremely versatile, the metallic elements enhance the elaborate optical models and the new oversized silhouettes.
