Carolina Herrera Unveiled its latest FW 22-23’ Collection
The well-known fashion brand presented its latest Autumn/Winter 2022-2023 Ready-to-Wear at New York Fashion Week.

Wes Gordon, Creative Director of Carolina Herrera, who took over from its founder in 2018, presented the CH A/W 2023 Ready-to-Wear collection during the New York fashion week on the day of Valentine’s Day, February 14. It took place inside a white-lined Manhattan building.
The designer Wes Gordon tried hard to continue with the traditions of the Maison and opted to attract the younger public as the viral square neckline, the favorite of generation Z.
This season, Gordon was keen on using shades of black and white to contrast with the bright hues. He said that as he was sketching for this new collection, he got inspired by themes of brave and self-assured women, and he also prioritized making “something special and something full of love.”
“The Carolina Herrera woman is looking for epic clothes,” he said, “strong clothes for strong women.”
Moreover, during the show, he mixed and showed: a white shirt paired with a fuchsia skirt, joined by a wide belt to highlight the waist, saturated chroma of Crushed Berries, Anemone Blue, Fire Opal, Deep Peony, Evening Primrose Yellow and Dahlia burst on the blindingly white runway.
He also emphasized the reason why he was going for the dramatic. “It’s our most fabulous, dramatic pieces that are selling the fastest,” he said. “There is definitely, I think, a desire to celebrate, to get dressed. The moment is absolutely right now.”
Models wore sleek pulled-back hairstyles and strappy black heels. Some even wore oversized black sunglasses — no matter that this was a freezing mid-February day in New York.
Moreover, there were linear, tailored silhouettes, tulles with greater volume and floral print and bows. “The silhouettes this season are markedly linear and tailored, yet feature moments of exuberance like an undulating cascade, an enormous sleeve or a color reveal at a hem,” the label explained on its Instagram page.
To summarize, Carolina Herrera’s collection was a combination of day-to-day designs along with great and iconic dresses that we will see on the next red carpets. A palette of whites, blacks and grays combined with the most striking and vivid colours.
