Louis Vuitton unveils its first ski-focused collection

The collection presents essential outerwear, accessories, shoes and skis perfect for the slopes

Haute Couture firm Louis Vuitton presented its first Ski 2022 collection dedicated entirely to skiing.

This incredible collection included jackets, overalls, and trousers made of water-resistant stretch material; the parkas feature canvas belts and carabineers inspired by rock climbing. Moreover, mini dresses, the knitwear with the unmistakable monogram, the chrome sweaters, and the soft furs complete the ready-to-wear range.

Glimpses of Monogram appears everywhere: on the fleece fabric of a gilet, on the lining of a leather jacket, or even on the hood of a puffer jacket in a unique recyclable material made of 100% recycled nylon fibres, fully in line with Louis Vuitton’s creative approach.

“A breath of fresh air. Ideal for a Winter altitude, pieces in LV Ski showcase a printed alpine landscape, in orange hues which reminisce a sunset.” Shares the official Instagram account of LV.

Moreover, the collection also features a variety of shoe models to be worn for après-ski, which are available in different heights: The Territory and The Polar. The skis, limited to 200 pieces, are covered with an aluminum alloy and feature the house’s iconic Monogram motif. Moreover, jackets are made of unique recyclable material 100% recycled nylon fibres.

An innovative ski design is present in the collection, too. There are pairs of skis available as numbered 200-piece limited editions, and which are covered with aluminium allow sporting the iconic Monogram. As suitable on the slopes as they are off-piste, the skis are inspired by a trip to Courchevel. The alpine summit prints – which are also featured on certain ready-to-wear pieces – cover the base of the ski, topped by the new LV Flocon design.
